My game freezes every time I go into CAS mode

My game freezes completely within minutes into CAS mode. I don't know if it does during gameplay because I haven't tried. I am trying to re-create the townies but every time I go into CAS mode within...

Thanks. Yeah, definitely try without CC/Mods. Wouldn't hurt to try moving out the whole Sims 4 folder too and then adding in one save to see if it works https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612394#M163

Also, try loading a Lot and see if it crashes during gameplay.

    Have you tried to repair the game in Origin? Right click on the game in My Games and select Repair Game.Yes
