My time freezes and sims won't do anything

I have been having this issue where if my sims are sleeping the time will completely freeze and I can't lick them or give them more actions. I tried going through my cc and everything but nothing seems to work. this has happened a couple times before but it hasn't happened constantly, it really only happened when one of my sims would get abducted and I had my MCCC in my mod files. this is really annoying to me because I was fully able to play yesterday but I don't know what is about today. this might be because of the new update because it never happened this bad before the update. please fix this issue.
