No Internet connections

Is it just me or after the sims 4 got an update not long ago it just stops working? I tried updating it but it gets stuck at 2% loading and then distrusts buy a message that’s says "the app couldn’t connect to internet" EVEN THOUGH I AM. I have tried everything and literally going crazy. And the EA help doesn’t help me either and I can’t find anyone who has the same problem
