I have already tried repairing the game in origin and I have no mods. thank you for your help!

Can you please update your OS, High Sierra to 10.13.6 and see if that fixes the issue. You can do this by clicking on the Apple then About This Mac then Software Update in the window that pops up. yes, that worked! thanks
