I’ve followed everything on the first page but when I go to play none of my ccs/mods are showing and it starts a whole new game/file in documents

Your CC/Mods need to be in the Sims 4 folder in your local Documents > Electronic Arts folder, not in a Mods folder in iCloud.- minnie4742 years agoNew Novice
Hey, I don’t have a mods folder in my iCloud everything is in my documents > electronics arts folder

You can take screenshots using your Mac - https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201361
Please open Terminal and copy and paste the following search command then hit Enter/Return:
find ~ -type d -name "*Mods*" 2>/dev/null
After a little while it will return the results of the search. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.
