It takes a while, it's not instant. You know when it's finished because the prompt appears.

- 2 years ago@Bluebellflora never got a reply, it just doesnt work... after a minute or two my user name appears again and the prompt for me to type something new. Do u have any clue as to why my saves are gone, even though I moved the EA folder to the hard drive, from the icloud where it was? there were no saves in the icloud saved folder either, though.

It does work, it means that in your Mac user account there are no save files. after it has finished it returns the prompt again, like you have explained. If it didn't work you would get an error message. You could try searching all of your Mac including all user accounts, copy/paste this instead:
find / -type f -name "*Slot_*" 2>/dev/null
This search will take quite a while so just let it run in the background.
Have you renamed any of your save files?
- 2 years ago@Bluebellflora I didnt rename anything before, no. What i have done, is a time machine before the latest software update. Maybe i could find the old EA games saves folder in my time machine and see if the saves are there? And then copy them? Do u think that this could work?
