Reflections, shadows and "very high" lighting have stopped working Sims 4

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Settings are on high for reflections and very high for lighting but there are no shadows, lighting through windows or reflections showing in the water (working on mirrors though ?!). Was working fine and then literally just stopped for no apparent reason.
What happens when the bug occurs? There are no shadows, reflections in the water or light shining through windows.
What do you expect to see? High definition light effects through windows, reflections in the water and shadows.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
- There is no lighting shining through windows, reflections in the water or shadows appearing. I have lighting set to very high and reflections to high. It was working fine and then all of a sudden stopped working. I've repaired the game etc and nothing seems to work.
Oh I managed to get it working !! I moved the Sims 4 folder to my desktop and let it generate a new game and redid the graphic settings. I quit the game and moved my mods and saves into and voila ! It worked !!
