My game has only started once, since creating a new game file. I now keep having the same issues with it crashing on startup and haven’t been able to play in almost two weeks.

What files did you add into the new Sims 4 folder from the old one?
Which model Mac do you have and version of macOS?

That’s the thing - I’m not adding any files from my old game. Just trying to play on a completely new file.
I have a 2022 macbook pro and its last update was macOS 15.1.1

Ok, new save file? You haven't moved any files or folders from the old Sims 4 folder into the new one?
How far exactly into the loading process is the game getting? Is it launching the game window? Is it just bouncing in the Dock? Where exactly do you get ?- xjfm2 years agoRising Novice
Yes - a completely new save file and no files added back in.
I get to The Sims 4 screen, and then it crashes repeatedly on the loading screen where it cycles through the messages (articulating reticulated splines, etc). I cannot get past that screen unfortunately.
