sims 4 not opening on mac

everytime i try opening sims it literally does nothing. ill press launch and then ea launcher will dissapear for a second or two and then come up again back on the same screen. ive updated my mac to the latest software, ive deleted all my mods, ive deleted sims and ea launcher and re-installed but nothing has worked and its been like this for days now im on an m3 macbook air. pls help ive tried every solution i could find online
