Hello , I’ve tried everything can think of to get my sims to open but it won’t open. When I click on it a message saying it’s “unresponsive” pops up. When I let it load for a while it does eventually open but it’s hard to save & close and reopen it later. I’m starting to think my MacBook isn’t compatible to run the Sims 4 app since it just updated (my MacBook) any suggestions ?

I tried a clean Sims 4 folder and sadly it’s still the same result. I have a MacBook Air M1 2020 MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1. When I click on Origin to open my game it says it’s unresponsive but if I let it load for a while it eventually opens but it’s hard for me to save and close it back when I’m done playing. Could this maybe be a storage problem? I just upgraded to 2TB (iCloud storage) .
No , I removed my mods to my desktop and generated new folders and files for everything else . Even when I take my mods folder out of my game and try to open it that doesn’t work. I honestly believe it’s the MacBook itself because I’ve tried everything else . Yes, I allowed access . I even download the origin reset tool and nothing works .
