Sims 4 saying I don't own packs i've already bought and played with

I logged on after not playing sims for a few months and had to update the game. After it completed updating, I go to launch the game and notice it says I only own the base game and none of my purchased packs: Cats & Dogs, Seasons, Cottage living, and then small ones like backyard stuff and blooming rooms kit. 

I looked up how to fix it,  so I did what it said and  closed base game, repaired the game, reset my computer, and then relaunched and it still didn’t work. 

I did go into my files and looked up the name of the packs and they showed up, with the installer data sheet. I guess they're just in the wrong location? I have no idea how to go about sorting this. 

Anyone have any experience with this or any ideas on how to fix it?
