'Clean up' apps are awful and can cause more problems than they purport to solve. They routinely delete and move files that they shouldn't and can sometimes even destabilise the operating system. The best way to uninstall anything is to do it manually.
So, let's start with a clean slate. Trash the Sims 4 from your Applications folder, move the Sims 4 folder out onto your desktop from Documents > Electronic Arts and then uninstall Origin manually.
When you've done all that, and are 100% happy that you have deleted every single Origin file from the hidden Library folder, go ahead and download and install Origin again.
Let me know how you get on 🙂
@Bluebellflora hi, i already follow all of instruction how to uninstall both origin and the sims 4, and re-install it, but it still now working ☹️

Thanks for the update. I've seen others posting about this over on the official game forum too. Has it only started since the most recent patch?

It seems that it's an issue that others are suffering from too. I've started a thread asking for more info from people. Please could you post in it? It would really help get together as much data as possible 🙂 http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/INFO-REQUEST-Sims-4-not-quitting/m-p/5384267#U5384267
