Sims4 on Mac keeps freezing/crashing

I have a Mac Pro  but my Sims4 game keeps freezing and/or crashing during the "save" mode and while in play. I've tried everything that the EA support team said to do; Reset the Origin app, Clear th...

    @Destini26

    Legacy version is no longer available and your Mac won't be running it even if it was.

    Try the new clean Sims 4 folder as per the link I posted and see how it performs.

Yeah, they did. But thank! I'll try some of these and see what works. 

To answer your question; here's my specs that I use:

Processor: 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5

Graphics: Intel Iris Plus graphics 1536 MB

Memory: 16 GB 3733 MHz LPDDR4X

Mac Model: MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2020

Operating system: Ventura 13.4

1. I downloaded the legacy version but im unsure if that's the one it's pulling up when I play

2. no antivirus 

3. I have tried to repair the game in Origin multiple times 

4. I don't use any CC/Mods 

5. I have plenty of storage left as well

    @Bluebellflora Thanks that worked! I started slowly adding back my old files that I wanted & it's still running smoothly!
