The Sims 4 save became empty/corrupted after clearing the EA App cache.

I play The Sims 4 on Mac. After clearing the EA App cache, my old save disappeared from the Load Game menu. I still have the original Slot_00000004.save file, approximately 10 MB.

I restored the save into a newly generated Sims 4 folder. The save now appears in Load Game, but when I open it, all of my households and lots are missing and the world is empty.

Recover Save is also completely empty and there are no .save.ver0/.ver1 backup files available.

I tested the save without Mods/CC and the problem remains. I also created a copy of the save under another slot, but the copied save has the same problem.

The save file is still recognized as a Maxis DBPF file and is approximately 10 MB.

I would like to know whether EA can analyze or recover data from this save file
