Transferring Sims 4 Files to new computer before Origins is shut down
So, with the coming shutdown of the Origins app, I know that I need to get all my Sims 4 stuff transferred to a new computer so I can use the EA app. (My laptop hasn't updated since almost the entire time that I've owned it. So, it'll just say things like "you need this update to download this" but if I go to check updates it says "everything is up to date". Been like that for years. So, there is literally no way for me to keep my game and files on this computer if I want to ever play the game again.)
I use Sims 4 on my laptop A LOT. I use it to create characters and settings for TTRPGs, stories, etc. I don't have many families that I actually play. I think I've got 4 and I deleted the rest. However, as I was trying to transfer my stuff to Dropbox in order to get it over to my other computer, I noticed that the amount of files in the "Saves" folder is 660. There's no way I need all that, right? It's gonna be absolutely impossible transfer THAT many files. What files and folders do I ACTUALLY need to ensure that i can log into my game files on the new computer?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated
