Update Stuck

A few days ago my Sims 4 game began updating, and it hasn't stopped. The update screen says it is at 99%. 

I have cleared my cash, closed all my applications, restarted my laptop, cleared all of my custom content, and attempted to cancel the download. Nothing has worked. I've never had an issue while playing on a Mac (aside from the little bit of lag), let alone the EA app.

Is there another solution I might have missed>
