Unable to Play Sims 4

Sims  4 was working perfectly fine for me until about a a couple of days ago.

Every time I attempted to start up the game it would freeze on the loading screen. If I was lucky enough for it to load, the game would constantly freeze on and off until I get forced out of the game stating that it is "Not Responding".

I cleared my cache, uninstalled the game and attempted to re-install it but now it won't load past 2%. Every once in a while I get an Error pop up and other time my computer freezes.

I'm able to do any other task on my PC and play other games with no issues but when it comes to Sims, my PC freezes and becomes unbearably slow.
