Will downloading Sims 4 slow down my iMac?
Here are my specs:
macOS Sierra (Version 10.12)
iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, Late 2015)
Processor 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 8GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Startup Disk Macintosh HD
Graphics Intel iris Pro Graphics 6200 1536 MB
Storage 951.41GB/1TB (available)
For the past few years, I've been playing TS4 on my MacBook Pro (Late 2012, 13 inch, without retina). With the settings I had on the game (I had quite a few of the graphics on high, and others medium) along with additional downloads of packs and mods, its general performance and speed slowed down. Since recently buying an iMac a few months ago, I've been wanting to download TS4 on it for better playing. Although, I'd like to avoid anything that will significantly slow down its performance. I'm just being extra cautious. Thank you in advanced for your response(s). (:
