All social events turn into Incognito Costume Party

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 11/12/2019 - PC 1.58.63.1010
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get Famous, Seasons, Cats & Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get to Work, Dine Out, Spa Day, Outdoor Retreat
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. go to the phone and schedule social event 2. I've tried both Fan Meet and Greet and Dinner Party 3. I feel like, when I try to check the box to make it a goaled event, it doesn't allow me to. It just launches into the event and Sims start showing up in costume. 4. The party status indicator (upper left) shows that its an Incognito Costume Party instead of the one that I chose.
What happens when the bug occurs? It turns into an Incognito Costume party instead of what I was selecting
What do you expect to see? I want to click on the Goaled Event checkbox and then be able to launch the event that I chose.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    @SimsSeattle Is this if you do it through the calendar or phone ? Does it matter where you choose the event to be or do you not get that far ?

    For me it works well so could you try repairing your game through Origin ?

    I'm having the same issue.  I'm playing the legacy challenge and I'm on my 6th generation and it just started happening in this generation and of course his aspiration is for parties!  All previous generations were fine and had parties.  Has this been resolved or how can I fix this?

    Ok, googled a little more and did a repair then went back in to play to see if it fixed it.  I then realized it was my own error!  I was clicking for the goal event but not on the actual event so that is why it was always going to the costume party.  DUH.  Make sure to click on the actual event not just the goal event box.  Fixed my own error.  Guess it's time for bed.
