Whenever I try to launch TS4 through either the EA App or Steam, I get this error.
I have tried uninstalling and have then reinstalled, EA App, Steam and The Sims 4 itself.
I have turned off my firewall and the error still persists.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Helena5763 Sorry for the late reply. Do you still need help? This error message is related to security settings, but not your firewall, if that's where you changed the settings. An antivirus is a separate program, usually, and that's where you need to look. If you don't run a standalone antivirus, check Windows Defender's settings. Either way, look for recent actions and unblock whatever component of Sims 4 was not allowed to run.
You may need to repair the game (EA App: Sims 4 > Manage > Repair; Steam: Sims 4 > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of the game files) before you're able to play again.
