Maybe there is a setting in your BIOS setup where you can change this.
I increased my dedicated memory (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMclzL-g15E) and now the dxdiag is saying "512MB" but Sims 4 still isn't working. Is there anything else that I can try to fix?
Try to repair the game.
Open Origin and rightclick the game. Select Repair.
