Aspiration Wont Change

I finding myself unable to change my sims aspiration I go into change sim and in CAS I'm able to select a new/different one, but when I leave the CAS it's reverted back to the original no matter what...

    Could you try changing it through the menu in game? 

    When you're in the little pop up menu (at the right bottom of the screen), go to the first tab, the aspirations tab, and click on the star symbol.

    Thank you, That seems to have worked, didn't realize it could be done that way.
