Audio Bug, Audio Stuttering and Repeating

Hi! I recently downloaded my Sims 4 game on my new pc, I had moved my files and mods to the new pc to play the game but I noticed right away that my audio is glitching out for some reason, I had tried updating drivers, turning off mods, and even uninstall and reinstalling the game, Nothing has seem to work so far.. Is this some how a problem with my pc?

  • uberaccoontaken  Please test the game with nothing else running in the background, other than the EA App of course.  If that doesn't help, do the same but also move the Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts.  Doing so will force the game to create a new folder, with none of your previous content, but that content will still be intact and can be restored later.  The point is to test without it for now.

If that doesn't help either, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

  • uberaccoontaken  Your dxdiag lists a few crashes of the graphics driver, and this software comes packaged with an audio driver as well.  So please do a clean uninstall and reinstall, as described here:

Please also make sure Parsec isn't running in the background when testing.

If this doesn't help, please unplug your speakers, plug in a different audio device (preferably not Bluetooth though), restart your computer, and test again.
