August 2018 Patch - Sims Frozen / Stuck

Hey guys! After the August patch all of my sims and townies (even pets) have been freezing on commands. I have to manually reset them over and over again to make them actually do the things I ask! It's very annoying. I do have mods, they are all up-to-date. Before this patch everything was fine even the mods. My game ran quickly on the highest levels of quality and the mods gave me no problems. After the update I did redownload all of the mods for it to work for the newest patch. So I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to fix this. Even my friends who do not have and mods/cc have the same problem! Is this just a bug from EA adding the newest items? If it has something to do with this patch, I hope it gets fixed soon. Thanks everyone!

The main issue with your computer is space you have left on your hard drive. As you only have a small 120 GB hard drive, the space there is almost taken up. Windows needs space for temp files so that could have something to do with your issue

Which packs do you own ?

Ah poo. I have all expansions! Get to work, seasons, pets, get together, and city living. I don't have any other packs!

Anyways, I'm guessing that all packs are just too much, especially since your graphics chip is also just the bare minimum.

I usually don't recommend installing the game on an external drive but in your case, it might be worth looking into. Do you have the means to get a 1 TB external USB hard Drive ?

@crinrict I can get an external drive but tbh I might just put Overwatch on there because I hardly play on PC anymore but more so on Xbox! Or maybe I can just uninstall it and redownload it later. Hopefully it stays on my Blizzard account. What do you recommend? Thanks!

Uninstalling Overwatch will certainly free up some space and pretty sure Blizzard works the same way as any other game company. It will stay on your account even if you don't have it installed on your computer.

Maybe you also have some photos, videos and other stuff that you can put on an external drive instead.

Oh sweet! I'll uninstall it then. It is like over 19GB omg

Also I have a ton of photos I don't need anymore hopefully that'll work! Thank you SO MUCH for your help! I will start cleaning up my PC. If I still have anymore problems I'll come back to this post! Again thanks!
