Blacked out Lockers
The functional lockers in the High school years expansion pack are completely blacked out when in laptop mode.

RVIINFVll Is there a reason you need to use laptop mode? Because it's not for laptops per se; it's really just disabling Advanced Rendering and is meant for low-end systems.
If you do need to use laptop mode for performance reasons, I can try to help, and in that case, please provide a dxdiag. But the obvious easiest answer is not to use it, and your game would look better as well.
