Blank Text Bubbles

I just downloaded The Sims Get to Work and I noticed that some objects or actions are showing up with blank bubbles.

Has anyone else had this problem? It's irritating as it never happened on the base game, just when I downloaded the expansion pack.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • I haven't experienced this issue myself, but I do have a couple of ideas of what might help.

    If you have any CC, try removing them to see if it helps. With all of the recent updates and patches, CC has been acting a little strangely. I would also try repairing the game in Origin. You can do this by right-clicking The Sims 4 in Origin and selecting 'Repair Game.'

    I would also look into clearing any old cache files: http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-cache-files/

    Hi, i don't have the get to work pack but the reason it will have blank bubbles is because it has just come out. EA will probably have a patch update to fix things. hope i helped 😕mileyhappy:

    I deleted all the cache files that were shown on the link you provided then tried playing again, I thought it worked but it just went back to blank message bubbles after 5 minutes.

    Then I remembered that I did have CC downloaded and in use (I never used what I had so I removed them), repairing the game as well to see if that also helps.

    I will update you if it was successful or not.

    I'm having the same problem too, I don't have any CC or any Mods or anything like that in my game and I tried to repair it, but it's still having the same problem. I just really want to play 😕mileysad: but unfortunately I can't because the text that is missing is kinda crucial to play the game.

    Any other help would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

    Yes unfortunatly it hasn't worked for me either hmmm...

    Is there someway to directly tell EA about my problem?
    Basically so they know what's going on to not only me but other players as well?
