I'm not sure where to ask this question. I have Sims 4 on Xbox Series X, with all packs. I may be getting a PC in the future but it won't be for several months.
Is it possible for me to get buy Sims 4 packs now with the idea that I would install them on my PC later? I have a Mac right now, so I could possibly get stuff now for installing on PC later? Can I do this?
fatalmoon65 When you buy content for PC/Mac, your EA account owns that content; it doesn't get assigned to a particular computer. So you could buy now and have the content waiting for you whenever you were ready. Additionally, the PC and Mac versions of the game count as one product, so anything you have available on your Mac will also be available in Windows, and vice versa.
I would however suggest waiting for the next Sims 4 sale, as they're very frequent and you'll probably see one before you get the PC. There's no sense in paying full price when you might get 30-50% off.
Thank you very much, I will check for sales. I only wish this also applied to console games switching over to PC or Mac, since I have Sims 4 and all packs on my Xbox.
