Buying a hp ryzen 3 4gb/1TB will sims 4 be ok on it ?

@ashleyrene2020  The game should run okay on low graphics settings, maybe medium settings if you're installing older expansions; the newer ones tend to be more demanding.

Do you already have this computer?  You might be able to get something better, depending on how much you're willing to spend.  If you'd like me to look for other options, I'd be happy to do so.  Just list your budget and country, as well as any other details that matter to you.

looking for a laptop under $400 it will only be used for sims nothing else. Basically just the base game an a few expansions 

@ashleyrene2020  This is the best option I see for $400.  It has twice the RAM, a stronger processor, a faster integrated graphics chip, and a smaller but much faster hard drive.

This hardware should be able to handle medium settings, or maybe medium-high if you're not installing the most demanding EPs.

These one is a slightly cheaper alternative: not as good, but it does have 8 GB RAM and a fast hard drive.

There really isn't a lot of selection in this price range, but the first laptop is as good as anything you can get for under $500, so it's not a bad choice at all.

So the asus is a better option than the hp I found right? 

@ashleyrene2020  Yes, it is, in all the ways that count.  And it's about as good an option as you'll ever see for $400, so if you like the Asus, it's probably your best bet.

what about an hp ryzen 8gb / 256gb? 

@ashleyrene2020  That depends on the type of processor.  The Ryzen series comes in three versions: 3, 5, and 7, and each generation brings different versions.  So it would be easier if you linked the product page or at least listed the full specs.

If you're talking about the HP I linked, it's better than the one you found but not as good as the Asus.

@ashleyrene2020  The link isn't working: it says the item is out of stock or back-ordered.  However, I do remember a laptop with those specs for $450, and it would also be fine.

If you really want an HP, this one is $410 and has the same specs as the Asus, except it has 12 GB RAM instead of 8, which could help with multitasking.

It’s at Walmart.com... I definitely won’t be downloading any CC or using it for anything other than sims 4, and I really will only be buying the base game and a few expansions
