So, I literally have less than 10GB left on my C Drive, and I don't have anything else on it other than The Sims 4, LOL. I probably only have about half the packs right now. I'm thinking about deleting some saves and also going through some of my cc to see if there's stuff on there that I don't use. Any other suggestions?.

How large is the drive you're using? The Sims 4 only takes up around 54 GB. I'd recommend uninstalling the game and reinstalling it from scratch, picking and choosing which packs you really need. And the, slowly add in CC. But, to be honest, maybe it's time to upgrade your HDD or SSD to a larger one?

I would honestly just suggest another drive at this point, especially if you want future packs/content.

I recommend a free program called Treesize Free, it shows how much all your folders are using space, it's very useful for finding out how much space you are using on your hard drive.

Sounds like you have a small drive most likely a small SSD as your main drive meant for Windows to boot faster with not much space left which is common. Do you have a bigger second internal drive? Probably not an SSD but you would have more space.If you do get another drive eventually, ignore the people who suggest putting your game onto an external drive if you can avoid it. Why? External drives are not going to be as fast as internal drives. You will notice a dip in performance with the game installed on an external drive. edit to add: External drives are best used as storage devices for any extra photos or files not in use. I use mine for all of my backed up game stuff (screenshots, save files, recorded videos, copies of mods and CC)

Move all of your screenshots and videos to a removable hard drive. If you do “save as,” make sure you don’t have a ton of saves cluttering your folder.

Yes, you definitely going to have to take care of that problem not only for Sims 4 but for Windows as you may start noticing slow downs as Windows prioritize what little resources it needs to keep Windows running. As others are saying you might want to get an bigger hard drive or SSD and if you system can has the capability install an second drive and install Sims 4 to that drive however the core files must remain on the C:/ drive and Sims 4 will do that automatically. Another thing to keep in mind do not fill up an hard drive to the max and that goes more importantly for SSD drives as SSDs act differently than HHDs. Sometimes programs move blocks of info across the HHD or SSD and problems arises when it can't do what it needs to do. I myself keep my drives under 75% full.

Go into your drives properties, and select Disk cleanup. Then make sure it cleans up any "Windows OLD" files. Those are the files from previous versions that Windows leaves behind when updating. They can safely be removed, but needs to be done properly with Disk cleanup, as far as I know. Those files can be huge, 10+ GB.

Yes, Windows takes up most of your C drive actually and keeps increasing with updates, I wouldn't install any games on my C drive if it was that small.

I also have something to share. Look at the downloads folder. Mostly when you download something especially installers or zip files after you install the program (say Origin) the Setup file will still be on the download folder. I recommend deleting those files especially if you already installed the programs you need to use.

I also had TS4 installed on a very small SSD, but that was also a while ago before patches adding more content, as well as packs being released... It feels like with every patch the game takes more and more space. Even without mods :o

Moving your documents folder to another drive might help then, but installing TS4 on another drive is probably the best long-term solution since packs will keep being added.
