Can you buy the sims 4 used?

I was wondering if I could buy the game used. (It's expensive!!!) But I noticed it is not available on gamestop.com I was wondering if that is because it won't work used, because of the game code, or if they just don't have it in stock. It is being sold used on Amazon, but again, I don't want to spend that kind of money on a game and turns out it doesn't even work! Please Help! I really want to buy the game but have heard so many bad things I wouldn't want to spend $60 on it and hate it! Thanks so much! :D

    Unfortunately The Sims 4 is a PC game and as such will not be sold as used due to the code being already associated with an Origin account. Someone might decide to resell a copy they have never installed, but if it has ever been installed, it cannot be resold.

    If you do not want to spend money on this game, your best bet is to watch the various sites that have news and walkthroughs for The Sims 4, as they also tend to host giveaways where you can win a copy of the game.

    Hey, i was having the same issue last week, i have NOT  bought the game used. I would just advise that you wait a while (it sucks to wait but i'm doing it myself) There are bound to be deals around Christmas time. Sounds like a LONG wait but it's better than spending a ton of money on a game you may not even like. You could even download the demo from the sims 4 it's only create a sim, but it may give you a better idea as to whether or not you'll like it.
