Can't find save

I downloaded a save file from the internet and placed it in my save folder, but can't find the save file in "load game" section. What am I doing wrong? Does my game need to be repaired? Is there a way to fix this issue? I do have the save files in my save folder I just don't have the option to load the game. By the way, I do have a couple of save files from the internet that I can load.
