Can't Install Sims 4 from DVD with windows 8.1

Hi.  I've just got the Sims 4 for Christmas.  I have windows 8.1 and have the right system requirements as far as I know.   Everytime I click the icon for sims 4 (which is the dvd drive button), or ...

hi, i dont have the exakt same problem but i also have a problem installing from dvd. Do you mean that orgin dosent show up? 🙂 mine did but my game dosent show up in orgin..

Yeah.  I literally click continue, it looks/sounds like something is about to load then it just doesn't :S

    thats so weird! try to turn the computer off and start again. maybe it work then!
