Can't Launch Sims 4

@MysteryKoolAid7  What happens now when you try to play: the same error from the EA App, or something else?  Your dxdiag lists a few BlueScreens as well.  Have you noticed them, and in what context do they happen?

It's also worth installing Sims 4 using a different EA account just to see whether this is truly an account issue.  (The base game is free now, so it's an easy test.)  The errors in your dxdiag did need to be addressed, but perhaps you started out with more than one problem.

@MysteryKoolAid7  Right, since the new account works, the issue is only on the main account, which is good news all by itself.  First of all, if you use OneDrive in the main account, try pausing syncing before you try to launch Sims 4.  Right-click the OneDrive icon in the lower-right corner of your screen, select Pause syncing, then 2 hours, and see whether you can play.  If you can, it becomes a matter of adjusting OneDrive's settings.

If you don't use OneDrive, or pausing syncing doesn't help, try running the takeown command on the Documents folder in the main account.  You're going to use this command:

takeown /F "C:\Users\username\Documents"

Write your actual username for this Windows account (your main one) instead of username.  Since the syntax needs to be exactly right, please copy this command to a Notepad file, substitute in your username, and then copy that string when you're ready to use it.  Hit Windows key-X and choose either "PowerShell (Administrator)" or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)," whichever option is offered, paste the command into the window, and enter.

Then restart your computer and try again to play.

I do use OneDrive, but I usually pause it when I play games because sometimes when it tries to sync it'll kick me out of whatever game I'm playing. I tried doing the takedown command and I still get the error message. 

@MysteryKoolAid7  Try running takeown again, except this time, put OneDrive in the file path:

takeown /F "C:\Users\username\OneDrive\Documents"

Otherwise, you can try telling OneDrive not to sync the Sims 4 folder in your main account.  Here's how (second option in this section of the guide):

You'll need to back up the Sims 4 folder first, as described, and then restore it afterwards.

@MysteryKoolAid7  If you told OneDrive not to sync the Sims 4 folder, it would no longer be on your computer, so you'd need to retrieve it from onedrive.com.  For more details, please see the "Restoring missing saves" section of the same guide, and if that doesn't help, "My saves aren't in OneDrive."

@puzzlezaddictI had not gotten to the point to tell it not to sync that file. I was going to do that when I couldn't find the folder. I followed the steps on the guide and I still cannot find the file anywhere.  I then followed the link to the virus scanner and followed those steps. I completed the scan and it said there was nothing detected.

@MysteryKoolAid7  Did you run the search for the missing content?  It shouldn't have just deleted itself, I mean files don't disappear for no reason.  They're almost always moved, if not by the user than by OneDrive or another program.
