i am not making a new account that will just take more of my storage space
ArthurShadows60 Okay, there's nothing obviously wrong in the dxdiag. So please check your antivirus for any recent actions involving Sims 4, and set exceptions if necessary. To see what antivirus you're using, open Windows Settings > Updates & Security > Virus & threat protection.
Here's how to set exceptions for a few common antivirus programs:

If that doesn't help, please create a new Windows account on your computer and try playing there. Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account or any email address. (You can keep saying you don't have the info until you're asked some security questions instead.) Here's how to create a new account:
Once you create the account, make sure to set it as an administrator.

thats only folders there is
ArthurShadows60 Your screenshot shows A Sims 4 folder with only the saves and Tray folders inside. But a) I don't know whether that's the correct folder, and in fact it definitely is not if you loaded the game and still only saw saves and Tray (more folders would have been created; and b) a folder with saves and Tray already in it is not clean, by definition.
For the dxdiag, click the Save All Information button in the lower-right corner of the window.

how do you get dxdiag saved as a text file
- ArthurShadows604 hours agoRising Traveler
look again i should clean folder
ArthurShadows60 As I said, I need the entire dxdiag saved as a text file, not a few screenshots.
You also didn't answer about the clean folder, so please let me know how that went.
