Can't open the game

I keep getting the message "file or directory is corrupted and unreadable" whenever I try to open the game. I got this once before and I believe I did something with my saves and was able to open the game, then I moved them back and I could play still. I started getting the pop up again after the recent update and now I don't know what to do I don't remember what I did with the saves so I'm scared to try that again and I deleted and redownloaded the game twice already and that isn't working. I dont know if its a mod I havent tried moving any of them yet I just dont know what to do anymore T . T
