Crash

My game is glitching so hard since the update.  It freezes and it's choppy. It's dropped and sent me to my desktop a lot. Also,  every time I try the new event,  even if I save after every step,  it doesn't register it.  I did the news step,  checking social media,  and talked to people 3 times.  I saved after every step.  Then my game crashed and I had to start over.  Three flip flopping times.  I can't update my driver just in case that's the issue,  they don't do updates for my invidious driver anymore.  Help.
