I'm trying to create a new save on the Sims 4, and whenever I start creating a sim, the game crashes after a few minutes in the CAS menu. I've already uninstalled all mods I had previously, sims 4 itself, the EA app itself, the EA folder in my documents, and any leftover folder in Steam an the game still crashes a few minutes in customizing my sim
DamjeI Thanks for the dxdiag, but it somehow doesn't show any errors. Do you use a cleaner app of some kind, one that deletes temporary files? If so, please remove it or at least disable it for now—the Windows error reports at least are important troubleshooting info.
Speaking of which, please please look for errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for errors that happened at exactly the time of your most recent two or three Sims 4 crashes. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. The Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away, so you might not see a very new error, but you can check back in an hour or so.

as for using a cleaner app that removes temp files, I don't but i did purge any sims 4 file that existed on my system in hopes of fixing this issue
