Crashing to desktop after latest patch, dxdiag and crash info attached
After the latest patch I am unable to play the game. When selecting resume game I get the loading screen then it locks up and clicking in the center of the screen crashes to desktop. The game worked without issue before the latest patch.
I have never used any mods or custom content. I only have the official game and official expansion packs.
After following the steps below found on the forum there is no change.
I have repaired the game in the EA app.
Set the page file to the recommended settings and restarted laptop.
Renamed the documents/electronic arts/the sims 4 folder to /sims 4 old, repaired the game, then copied the saves, tray, screenshots, videos folders back to the new directory, as well as the options.ini and usersettings.ini files.

AngelaRoseMead Does this happen in a new save as well? Please test and let me know. If the new save is fine, try loading a different household within your main save.
If the new save crashes too, try forcing the game to run in DirectX 9 mode, which is an option on the graphics settings page. You can select it from the Main Menu, then quit and reload before opening a save.
