Crashing to desktop after latest patch, dxdiag and crash info attached

After the latest patch I am unable to play the game. When selecting resume game I get the loading screen then it locks up and clicking in the center of the screen crashes to desktop. The game worked ...

    AngelaRoseMead​  Does this happen in a new save as well?  Please test and let me know.  If the new save is fine, try loading a different household within your main save.

    If the new save crashes too, try forcing the game to run in DirectX 9 mode, which is an option on the graphics settings page.  You can select it from the Main Menu, then quit and reload before opening a save.

yoonhan727​  If you'd like further help, please let me know whether your mods work in DirectX 9 mode, AND whether DirectX 11 mode works without mods.

Please also provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
