@Kattoinette There was a thread in General Discussion some time ago about the same thing, the OP were going to look into their mods. Do you have mods? Do you have MCCC? Do you have Snowy Escape pack, or Jungle Adventure or Vampires pack?
Edit: Here is the thread, it seems it was mod related.
https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Feedback/Inexplicable-Bats/m-p/10211477#M46604 I have all packs except Paranormal and the kits. I do use mods including MCCC, but I have updated all of them and tested it without mods and with various combinations of them and it's still happening. I tried repairing my game; still have bees. It's bizarre.

@Kattoinette That is very odd. Does is happen in a save that has never seen mods?
Which apartment in San Myshuno is it? If I would test it, did you download the apartment from the gallery? Have you at any point had that lot trait on the lot? It's 1 Torendi Tower Penthouse. I renovated it into a fancy high school. I did use some CC, but the vast majority is not. I've never had that lot trait. I did not have that problem on the same lot in a fresh save with no mods.

@Kattoinette I tested: made a new folder and save, placed a sim on Torendi Tower, let the game run for a couple of sim days. No bees, or attacks or deaths. I found a couple of reports of this issue, but no explanation.
Since it doesn't happen in a new save for you either I am inclined to think that it is caused by a mod, or a combo of mods. I would suggest you post in the thread I linked asking the OP if they have any knowledge which mod caused it for them. If it happens in a save that has never seen mods or CC you can make a bug report in the bug section; otherwise you need to contact the modders for your installed mods asking them.
To try to fix the issue I read that moving sims to another house/build helped. - @DonroaAkashu What's weird about it is that I tried it with no mods in that same save and still had bees. I bulldozed the lot and tried again without mods and still had bees.

@Kattoinette You can always make a bug report for the issue. I cannot find any official information on what is acceptable when it comes to reporting bugs on modded games. My personal advice would be to see if it happens in a new user folder and save in that, before reporting it. You can also look through the list of already reported bugs to see if anyone already have.
Did you ask the other poster to see if you share any common mods or if they knew which mod caused it in their save?
Oh, and of course bees come with the bee hive item and can sting the sim; but I focused on bee attacks causing death. Maybe if you post a picture of it when it happens, to clear up any language misunderstanding.
