Hello. I know this is really late but after the May 27th 2025 (1.115.216.1030 version) update, I have had the same exact problem. I tried literally EVERYTHING that every article has told me, that being: changing the game version in the GameVersion file to match the one displayed on The Sims 4 homescreen (mine said it was version 1.114.46.1030 in the GameVersion file. I had to change it to 1.115.216.1030), taking my mod folder out and letting it generate a new one after repairing/verifying my mod files through Steam (which is where I bought The Sims 4 through), along with a new resource.cfg file (that didn't work.) And now I just tried excluding the following files that you listed in my Anti-virus program. That also didn't work. I use Norton Security Ultra, which I just got a few days before the new Sims 4 update. I am very tech savvy, and that is how I even managed to troubleshoot everything I listed but even I get frustrated trying everything just for it to not work. So if you have any ideas or any extra information on what I should do, please let me know! Thank you.
