[CURRENT ISSUE] Anti-Virus blocking User Folder (Screenshots/Gallery/Mods..)

In the Sims 4 game, when I download mods to my game and put them in the mods folder, I enter the game and open the settings, then check the enable custom content and mods box, save and close the game. When I open the game again, a screen appears saying that mods are disabled. When I enter the settings again, the box I checked is gone. How can I fix this problem? Or, in which folder should I put the mods so that they are in the game? What should I do? Please help.
