[CURRENT ISSUE] Anti-Virus blocking User Folder (Screenshots/Gallery/Mods..)

Please, someone help me. I haven’t been able to play The Sims 4 for a long time. I go into the game and enable custom content and mods in the settings. Then I save and close the game. But when I open it again and go back to the settings, the option I enabled turns itself off. This keeps happening. I enable it, save and close, but it doesn’t work. Please, someone help me.
