Trying to play sims 4 on windows 11. Every time I try to start up sims it says
“unable to start:
the sims 4 is already running.
(ed35e0ea:29f00e76:00000000:18a1dd51)
I’ve updated my drivers all the way & my pc. I’ve tried to uninstall both EA & sims and I’ve run into the same problems.
ive look in the task manager and there was nothing there.
I’ve tried to clear the cache in the EA app & repair the sims app.
I have now installed and uninstalled both apps multiple times.
Still running into the same problem
@ajptwo Did you look in the task bar? Did you look in the system tray? If you find the sims 4 running just right click it and click end task.
- @roberta591 Yes I deleted anything to do with EA & the sims and still running into the same problem
@ajptwo What antivirus are you using?
add: do you have create a sim demo installed?
@roberta591I just have what’s on the laptop (Microsoft defender) & I’ve add the sims folder & the EA Folder to the excluded list
No I’ve never even played before
