@Nyythajointt What's the Sims 4 updater in your first screenshot? I don't recognize it.
For your internal drive, it looks like Sims 4 itself is taking up almost all the space not occupied by Windows, so your best bet is to uninstall it and reinstall on the external drive. That alone should take care of the storage issue. Please create a folder on the external where you'll install Sims 4, for example D:\Games, rather than trying to install straight onto D.
i have the sims 4 on my external drive as well as the EA App installer / EA . and the sims 4 updater is something that detects broken mods and ccs in the game , it quickly repairs the game and updates the game up to date , it doesn't interfere with the sims 4 game itself , i've been using it for a while now

@Nyythajointt Are you sure Sims 4 isn't installed on your internal drive too? I can't tell from your screenshots, but you do have 27 GB of apps installed internally, so please review that list and figure out what's taking up all that space if it isn't Sims 4.

i just double checked and it isnt , the EA App is installed on my internal drive , when i first downloaded the ea app installer i selected for it to download on my external drive ( i sent you that seagate file previously) i think it could be because of my laptop updating on its own ? i was able to clear and delete some stuff but i still have 2.97 GB left . I have no other apps installed except for what my windows added during the update , i did delete some of their apps i don't use . The items that are currently taking up lots of space is microsoft onedrive and mmicrosoft store. But the largest app on there is definitely the EA App , my storage minimizes with each update they do , i called a while ago and even asked if there was a way i could purchase more storage and they said that there wasn't since the storage disk or whatever they called is has already been built inside the laptop

@Nyythajointt Alright, then you'll need to do some detective work. Open a File Explorer window, click This PC in the left panel, and double-click the C drive. You'll see a number of folders. For each one, right-click and select Properties > General, and you'll see the size of that folder.
For any folder other than Windows (which you can ignore for now) that's larger than 5 GB, open it and repeat the process for the folders inside. Keep going until you find what's taking up all this space. For the Windows folder itself, just let me know how large it is, and of course if it's close to 50 GB you can stop there since that alone would account for the used-up storage. But I don't think that will be the case.

@Nyythajointt The second and third screenshots show the free and total space for your C drive, called Windows (C🙂 in Windows parlance, which we already knew. The first shows the size of the Windows folder, which is about right and much smaller than the size of all the files on C. So the question is what else is taking up that space.
In your first screenshot, click on each of the other folders in turn and find out how large they are. I mean Program Files, Program Files (x86), etc. For any folder less than 5 GB in size, ignore it. For anything larger, open it and repeat the process. For example, if you click Program Files (x86) and it's 20 GB, open it and click each folder inside, maybe Origin Games and Chrome and some other stuff.
The first screenshot you posted has the info I'm asking about—size and size on disk—so you could just write that out instead of posting a bunch of screenshots if it's easier for you. Or just post the screenshots. It doesn't matter to me as long as I get that info.
Please don't compress the data on C, at least not yet. This can cause certain applications to not work correctly.
