My daughter is Neurodivergent and loves playing Sims 4 its helps her to organise her thoughts in a calm setting which she can design and control. With literally over 2,000 hours of game play already clocked in her account alone so when we cannot open the game anymore its not only a pain but its also heart breaking.
No matter what we do we get this message over and over "An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again later".
We've uninstalled everything game and app, reinstalled both again with and without mods yet we continue to get the same issue whenever we try to launch Sims 4.
We suspect that the latest update maybe the issue but we cannot un-update or use a previous updated version as we cannot find these anywhere.
Help please!
If your having the same issue please post a reply just saying "Same Here" if it is an update issue then hopefully they will fix this problem if enough of us highlight it.

Same, I assume it has something to do with the severs being overwhelmed with Battlefield 6 players.

I've literally tried every help topic there is on Google and YouTube to try and fix this issue and nothing is working. You would have thought that EA would have made an announcement if it was or is them, but there is nothing.
If only inZOI had build functions oh wait it does. Although Sims is my daughters preferred platform the longer this goes on I've a feeling that we're be moving away from EA at this rate

Same I've removed my mods nothing reinstalled them nothing uninstalled the ea app reinstalled it nothing deleted the ea cache nothing used task manager to stop EA backgrounds then manually start the game nothing make everything administrator nothing make sure all the distributibles are not only working and repaired nothing I'm lost beyond lost I want to play the game that I have spent money on but whatever they did Is not allowing me to

Same here! I've gotten rid of custom mods, troubleshooted the EA app two different ways & I still get the same error message. I was actually playing about 2 days ago just fine & when I tried to launch the game the following day, the error message popped up. It's so frustrating!

@EA with the update coming on the 4th November 2025. I trust that you will have this problem sorted for the 100's of people suffering if not the 100,000's. Never have we had to put up with such crap service from a developer or publisher before.

FIXED! Following the mass update of 150+ reported issues on the 4th November 2025 the issue has been fixed and we are able to get back into SIMS4 again.
What is not expectable is that this has taken a month to resolve and there has been no contact from EA no apologies no were working on it updates etc. instead it was an update that destroyed the game which took an update to fix. @EA maybe you should allow us to downgrade and then upgrade again we need that please
