[CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 Failed to Launch Game

This started for me several days ago except now I don't get the error on our end message after being thrown off. I repaired the game, uninstalled and reinstalled it (which took hours), and checked I still had plenty of space on my pc drive. I contacted the EA technical help, and after being taken through several different things they finally said they had found out it was a problem with their own servers and other people were suffering the same. They said they were reporting the issue and recommended I post on here as well so their team can check it out. But it mostly seems like a matter of waiting for them to sort their servers out.
