I just got a new PC recently and I tried to start up sims 4 on it, but this message keeps popping up. I’ve done everything that I’ve seen from old posts about it online. I’ve done a clean uninstall with Revo, got rid of it completely. Reinstalled and still the same issue. And I even tried to do the launch in DirectX 9 mode thing. But when I press manage on the sims 4 in the EA app, all I see is “manage add-ons”. There is no view properties option.

ChristianPog Please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
For the missing "View properties" option, did you install the game through Steam? If so, that's why you wouldn't see it. You'd need to manage these settings within Steam.

ChristianPog Please install the Media Feature Pack for Windows 11 N:
This contains various resources that N versions of Windows don't have installed by default. Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.
You shouldn't need to run Sims 4 in DX9 mode. But if you'd like to know how to do so in general, Steam installs are covered here:

Yeah I installed the media pack and it did end up working! Thank you so much. I’m going to probably reinstall windows with just 11 and not N. Thank you a lot for replying
