bailyeee I've merged your post with the master thread for this error. Please see the first post for help. Please also check your antivirus for recent actions involving Sims 4. While I've never seen an overly-protective AV has cause this particular error, it's possible, and security software has been a significant problem after the most recent patch.
I actually did reinstall my game and it worked. I think it was because I uninstalled GShade yesterday and by doing more digging I discovered that there were still GShade files in my Sims 4 Game file. I tried deleting those files but it didn’t work, so actually reinstalling my game actually helped. Thank you!
