@mxlexa There are a few ways you might be able to address this, but the first question is whether you want OneDrive syncing your content at all. If not, please don't simply stop the syncing, which may remove the local copy of your Sims 4 user folder; at the very least, make a backup of this folder first. If you'd like help with the process of disentangling OneDrive from your system, let me know.
If you'd like to keep using OneDrive, then just list the folder(s) where the screenshots are appearing. I think I know, but I'd rather be sure.

I am having this same problem.. I would like my sims 3 game to not save all these photos.. I still use one drive for other things.. do I need to just go through every day and delete each photo? The stuff its saving is stuff I'm not even using or doing in game

@e040e7f83e432b8a You can exclude the Documents folder, the Sims 4 folder, or even the Screenshots folder from syncing if you want. Here's how:
That section of the guide covers both options: excluding Documents first, then only certain subfolders.

I realise this is a year old but I’d love to know how to untangle sims from one drive.
I got a new laptop with windows 11 and downloaded all my sims content and didn’t realise it had one drive as the default for saving everything.
I want it back on my computer drive. But I didn’t realise where sims saves is basically written into the games code so I was too scared to mess with anything lol.
the only thing I could think to do was uninstall the sims and all the content and then uninstall one drive and then reinstall sims and hope it saves to my computer so I can reinstall one drive and hope it stayed separated 😂😂 but that would take days probably. I have most of the packs except kits.- puzzlezaddict11 days agoHero+
@xDreamAwayWithMe I've merged your post with the master thread for disappearing saves and other user content because the way to get rid of OneDrive is covered in the first post on page one. Please see the "I want to get rid of OneDrive" section.
You shouldn't need to uninstall the game itself.
